A brief summary:
a) a creative table with the handles, which have many functions (and under the table handcarts with creative stuff: inks, colored pencils, aquarells, modelling materials, decor materials etc.)
b) hidden big ball for sitting (you can only see the handle)
c) hidden magnetic board (behind the corner)
d) small cabinets
e) cabinets with sliding doors (and creative stuff like paper, things for designing, creative and other literature, sketchbooks etc).
f) the open part of a cabinet with things like business folders, canvas, wooden frames, my 'experimental' book etc.

Finally, you can peep into my creative corner - from beginning to the end.

It took some time to think about what I need in the studio and what the layout would look like to be practical as much as possible. So that you don't stumble over the things on the floor or spill the paint on the first swing of the arm - I'm sure you know what I mean :).

Now, that I use it already, I know that it is a place, satisfying my taste and needs, and that I just don't want to go out of there!!

Dressed chocolate

Zotter chocolates ‘wear’ the best designed chocolate wraps, I think.
You just have to love them! – because:
not only the chocolate is yummy,
not only that you have many (interesting) tastes to choose from,
not only the ingredients are organic and from fair trading,
but also they take a special care of design:

But not just that! You can create your own 'special occasion wrap design' for the chocolate and give the chocolate to your dear ones! Wouldn’t that be a cool surprise?!
Agh, you just have to love them!

But maybe you know some 'better dressed' chocolates or designs that you adore? Please, share them with us, chocolate people!

Art teachers, eh?!

Art teachers don't have much to do. It's a piece of cake to be an art teacher.

But then:
there's a school event and scenography, costumes, posters, invitations are needed…
and there's a school project and a design for it is needed…
and there's a field trip and working-sheets are needed…
and there's a holiday and beautiful (cheap) greeting cards are needed…
and there's a birthday and a beautiful (cheap) BD gift is needed…
and there are boring classrooms and halls and exhibitions are needed…
etc., etc.

Who will do all that work?
Art teachers, of course, as they don't really have much to do!

My memories (illustrating and designing a workbook for a field project) of my life as an art teacher – the workbook was not made over the night (I still remember that!).

Yes, dear art teachers, I know very well how it is to 'not have' any work!

Logo-types

How do you create a logo?
Logo is not a simple thing. It's a small thing, that's for sure! But it has to tell a lot!

So, how do we start to design a logo?

My way goes like this:
First I need to hear about the client's wishes.
Then I check the colours and fonts that would the best represent the client.
I also need to know what is the message the client wants to tell to the World.
Then the process begins.
I have to keep in mind how big (or better said: small) the logo will be (to keep it clear) and where it will be used (stationery, business-cards, pens, T-shirts, etc.).

At the end, all of your long-hours work won't show in the logo. However, you will know how successful were you in no time: the logo will either spread around quickly or not...

The client's wishes:
- the kids should like the logo - it should be designed for the kids
- it should represent the host country Slovenia
- there has to be water and hands - the symbols of the main World Peace Summit 'logo'
- presents the unity - no race discrimination
- the logo should send out the message of peace, hope, harmony and yoga...

For such a small logo, hm, that was a lot to ask from me. Anyway, I tried to mix them all together............and that's what came out:
