Have a nice day today, dear ladies, women, Moms, Grandmoms...
Welcome...
...to the CREATISSIMO blog! If you are (or you want to be) creative, join us here and share your works, thoughts, tips, ideas, etc. with us. We all want to be creative together! We want to focus on creative process, so don't worry if you're not 'talented' (you will see that you are!). Just stop by and talk to us, ok?
Here's my e-address to talk to me 'in person':
creatissimo@gmail.com
PS1: My English is not perfect, but at least it's creative! ; ) Sorry for the mistakes...
PS2: You'll find a few words about me somewhere 'between the lines' of this blog, but you can also try to read a Slovene version on http://creatissimo.blogspot.com ; )

Phototherapy Project
With an iron will and step-by-step I've made some progress with the phototherapy project.
The thrill is still growing as March is near by, when the wheels will start turning. Before that, I still have a whole lot of logistics and formalities to do, but I remain optimistic! :)
I am pleased to inform you that I finally succeeded to create a special page about the project on my website and a blog, where you will read about the progress of the project. There you will find a few words about phototherapy, the project and how you can help too!
And there you'll even find a harsh truth about the co-financing projects through tenders and grants, and the reasons why I decided for the path of donating...
I will be delighted if you will support the project; if not otherwise, at least with a special 'button' and link to the site to spread the word about the project. Thank you for your effort, time and support!
These days, I have lots of books all around the place. This is currently my best friend ;) :
But still I don't have all the books I need. The story of books is an interesting one as well:
some books are held by certain professors, even though they supposed to be 'public'. It is a miracle if you are able to get access to those books, even if it just for the insight (um, from which money the universities bought the books??). Another fact is that it is necessary to sign in to the library (it is not free), even if you just want to borrow a book for a couple of hours and are willing to leave a personal document there to make it 'official'...
So, if you happen to know someone who has these books and are willing to help me with some info, I would be really thankful!
- Noah Hass-Cohen: Art therapy and clinical neurosience
- and something from David Mclagan who talks about aesthetics in art therapy. I'm not sure which article/book talks about that:
(It's amazing how much time I have spent on discussing about things that should be publicly available...)
Thanks to your support I have enough energy to overcome all the obstacles on the way and keep on going. :)
Let me now thank for another donation. I've got it from Vladka. Not only that, she sent a contribution for the project, she surprised me with her beautiful hand-made card, full of symbolism and good wishes :)! Look how beautiful it is!
And such gestures are the most wonderful companions on the steep roads, particularly when we are faced with the obstacles. Thanks, Vladka!
Thank you everyone who will spread the word about the project, and who will in any way contribute to the joy of the hearts of children!
All the best!

That's how it is...
...if you really, really help!
Ok, here are some details:
No more talk about 'who do you think you are' and 'I admit' (I hope). It is a 'past tense', so no need to talk about it anymore...
The flow goes on.
Because of you, the flow carries me with it in a high speed. Yes, that's how it is if you make effort to help me to make my dreams come true... Then the following happens:
And on top of that you will now be informed about the project so often, that you will eventually have a full head of phototherapy! ;) Yeah, that's how it is if you do your best to make my dreams come true!
I tell you: it's all because of you! You made it happen!!
Thank you for visiting my blog, thank you for your time, thank you for your comments. I appreciate it! I'm thinking of you and wishing you much inspiration, a lot of good will, and a lot of creative drive! We can be creative in several ways and in several areas, so, have fun!
*
And here are some news about the phototherapy project if you're interested to hear about it:
What awaits me in the following days:
* Verifying the ethical issues and the protection of personal data relating to children who will participate in the project - because I intend to organize an exhibition of their works
I can't wait!

Because of you, the flow carries me with it in a high speed. Yes, that's how it is if you make effort to help me to make my dreams come true... Then the following happens:
- After my daily 'busy-wizi' matters, I spend every free moment for you-know-which project
- I'm running out of time to publish posts on my blog (reports from Zagreb and Slovenske Konjice are still on the waiting list)
- I am running out of time to comment on your blogs. I do read them, but don't comment them!
And on top of that you will now be informed about the project so often, that you will eventually have a full head of phototherapy! ;) Yeah, that's how it is if you do your best to make my dreams come true!

And here are some news about the phototherapy project if you're interested to hear about it:
- confirmed mentor (from Slovenia) for the project
- approved school, where the (first) project will be implemented
- project will start in March (yeeeees!)
- intensive studying of researches and literature about this field (ah, in English, again, so I'm slow)
- translated some literature on phototherapy
What awaits me in the following days:
* Verifying the ethical issues and the protection of personal data relating to children who will participate in the project - because I intend to organize an exhibition of their works
- Documentation for the school
- Documentation for the selected (proposed) children
- Documentation for their parents
- My 'statement' for children and their parents
- Meeting with the participants and their parents and arrangements for implementation
- Literature, literature, literature
- Searching for sponsors and/or government 'calls' to obtain funding for a project
I can't wait!

Flow
This year I will leave myself to the flow. I will let myself carry into the direction of the flow. Even when I will occasionally freeze (in time), the Sun will melt me and help me continue.
(an impression from Zagreb)
I leave myself to the flow and am not scared...
Thanks to your response to my post Wishes, dreams... I didn't have holidays, but I already swam with the flow, full of excitement! :)
It seems that I will first try to implement the project of Phototherapy. I can't wait to receive donated digi-cameras, then I will have to find memory cards for them, printer ink to print photos, etc... Ok, I'll have to find some work to earn money, so that I can do the project 'voluntarily'. I would love to work out of pure love of course and not think about money, but unfortunately we are all made like that that we need to do something to get the money for our survival ;).
But the wheels started to turn, and I'm soooo happy about it, because I know that there is no turning back! Yeeeee!
Thanks to you I will change the world, thanks to you there will be more smiles, more tears of joy! Thanks, dear friends!
Wishing you a beautiful and inspiring January and I hope your flow will take you far away to the places you haven't imagined!

Sparkles
Sparkles everywhere. Sparkles on the trees, sparkles in our eyes, sparkles in our hearts. Because of all this playful dazzle the World around us looks magical, friendly, don't you think? I love magic, I love playfulness!
I wish you a magical Christmas in the circle of your loved ones, in a warm place and under a strong roof. I wish that in these festive days you meet a lot of sparkling eyes. I wish you warmth and safety. I wish you Peace and inner joy. I wish you all the best!
And stay creative!
And on Saturday and Sunday, just after Christmas night, I invite you to come into a magical world! Yes, you heard it right! Magical World! You will find it in Slovenske Konjice, in the Old part of the town. There you will find me doing magic together with the magical characters from the fairytales (and Santa Claus will be there too). We will sparkle joy and laughter! For more details, see the CreatissimoLab website under the title:
Sparkles in the eyes often tell us that curiosity, life, hope lie behind them... Therefore, I wish you lots of curiosity this season! Look forward to all the attention that you get, to small steps that you do, warm hugs, shy kisses. Rejoice, laugh, enrich your inner self!
And if you forgot the recipe for curiosity... you will definitely find it here in this video. - The best recipe I say!! ;)
Question no. 8 (the rules can be found in previous posts):
What do you like about Creatissimo blog? What you read with curiosity, what are you looking forward to read? What kind of posts would you want in the new year, what kind of posts make sparkels in your hearts?
I wish you a beautiful holiday season and hope to see you in Slovenske Konjice tomorrow!

Giving thanks, giving gifts!
We are going to play! Yooheeeeey!
Last year I tried to play a game with international bloggers (see this post), but nobody wanted to play :(. So, I'm doing it again this year as I'm an optimistic person ;).
This year?
It will be similar, but still different from the last year.
Every post in December will have a task in which you can participate.
If you will do it all the way, you will be a candidate for a reward. I will not tell how many 'candies' will be and what they are. It's a secret, you will just have to trust me :)!
You will get more instructions in the next posts, for today, I just wanted to ask you: are you in?
If you say: yeeeeeees!, then you have two little tasks waiting for you today (let's call it a warm-up):

I'm looking forward to play with you already!! Have fun!

Flying
A busy but creative week is ahead of me.
Workshops.
Meetings.
Designing.
Two meetings with people from the past.
Painting for the ex-tempore.
Writing a report.
And somewhere in between preparations for Xmas creative works.
Hm, if only my creative soul will want to fly...

You're coming, aren't you?
If you didn't read this news on the website, and if you didn't check the events on the Facebook page, and if you didn't follow the link from the previous year, then I really don't know how we're going to see each other??? Come and taste the sweets, check out the artists who will paint there, come and buy our works and enjoy the great atmosphere there. On Sunday. I will be there! (And please, say hi, so that we can meet in person!)
It will not rain they say, but if the rain comes anyway, there's going to be roof for you and me and everybody!
PS:
Next time I will not tell you about what's going on... You will have to check the web site or Facebook page for that kind of information, ok? ;)

New website!
Ta-daaaa!
Finally, the opening of new website! Hooray!
There are some things to be added later, but most of the things are there, ready to be explored, so it's worth a look. (Click on the image to jump there). The website is in Slovene and English, so you're very welcome there.

I have to admit that I'm very proud of myself as the whole site was made by me: the design, layout, system, etc - from A to Z. Also, all those computer-technical language was handled by me too. Therefore I am even more proud of myself.
I hope you will like it and that you will return for fresh news often.
If you find some typographical, grammer or technical trolls, please let me know. As I sat at the computer so much, sometimes I saw double, triple things, angular, circular; no words to describe it. PS: Well, apparently a few of you will have some problems if you have older versions of Internet browsers (eg IE6 and 7 are behaving weird), so upgrade your machines, if possible. Sorry, I could not get rid off these trolls :(.
So I finally deserve a short vacation, and when I'm back, there is another big thing waiting for me to be set: a new Etsy e-shop! Can't wait!
While I'm gone, take care and be creative as much as you can, ok? :)

New paths
Isn't it wonderful to discover new paths?! :)
A new path to my illustrations leads from the blog HobbyChic:
A new path to my illustrations leads from the blog HobbyChic:
(it was created for me by Tea. Thank you, Tea!)
Illustrations can be seen and selected when you click here: illustrations. If you would like some details and more info about them, feel free to contact me via e-mail.
With great pleasure I would like to announce that I am paving more new paths...
In September (hopefully) my works will be found in a new CreatissimoLab Shop, where shopping will be easier and faster, and there will be more choice, of course! Customers who will spend a lot in my shop will receive special surprises which will be delivered together with the order. And much more... Are you curious what will you find there?
Don't worry, I will inform you when the service starts, and I hope you will be able to take a look :).
I'm working on the latest and most important path right now! Completely renovated, neat and improved web site CreatissimoLab will soon see the light! All in one place, all in a unified design, all in united colors... Can you guess what colors are going to dominate?
Well, if you encounter on any technical problems these days, do not be terrified - it's just a shovel, with which I work on my new path (I confess, my back hurts, my brain is on fire and my eyes are tired ... - ogh and agh!). Once ready, the new path will be free, no more interference and obstacles. I promise!
I can't wait to invite you on a walk on my new paths! :)
See Ya!

Come!
Tomorrow, 4.7.2010, come and see us in
Logatec, at the church of St.Nikolaj!
Logatec, at the church of St.Nikolaj!
The event will take place at 4 pm until 7 pm, but we, the artists will be in Logatec from 9 am already!
Come and see!
Yes, in July, it will be more time for me to paint and create. Yeeeees!!
Some thought I'm going on vacation, but actually I just 'go' back to my painting and creative things. For the inspiration I'll have sights like this one and this one from my blog posts. Who needs a vacation if I have beautiful sights like that in my mind?!?
Anyway, make sure to come to Logatec tomorrow and meet me there in person - I can't wait to meet you!!

Have you noticed...
... that something is going on?
In fact, it's not going on much on the blog (as the weather is perfect for the creative things etc), because:
1. if you looked to the right sidebar, you could notice that two icons magically appeared there. If you click on them, you will broaden your horizons about what's on my mind and in my creative hands at that very moment.
(from the exhibition in Austria - author unknown)

1. if you looked to the right sidebar, you could notice that two icons magically appeared there. If you click on them, you will broaden your horizons about what's on my mind and in my creative hands at that very moment.
- On Twitter we can tweet about some brilliant ideas, sing about things that have been said already or chatt about little things and relax.
- On Facebook you will see what is going on, what is in the process of creating and anything else what's going on with creatissimo. I'd love it if you become eager fan on the creatissimoLab FB page, so that I'll put even more effort in my work, create more and experiment more, more, more!
2. remaining the same under the Website tab, you will find the picture which linked to my website, but now the link is new, as I'm working on a new website! Yoohoo! Yes, finally the new website won't be so static as the old one and it will be in English and Slovene language - isn't that great?! I'm transmitting the content from the old site to the new, but slowly the site will be all transformed into a single 'image' of beauty :). Since the page is bilingual, the transformation will probably take a little longer to be done, so I thank you for your patience and understanding!
3. because of the new website a new need has emerged: a need for a neat international shop with my created products... Well, I plan to work on that over the summer because... we can't do everything at once, right????
4. then I finally sorted all the blogs from my endless list of blogs and added them to Google Reader. It took some time to do all that (esp. sorting into the folders etc.). Now I can tell you the good news, that I'm reading your blogs - every day(!)! Well, I just didn't catch the time to leave comments to you, yet. But I'll catch up, I promise!
5. I also installed a voice reading software, so that I can now listen to the content on computer and create at the same time! How cool is that, huh?! I'll need this in July when I'll start designing posters for a client...
To sum up. Too much sitting at the computer. Can not wait to hear the Flying lesson about time management. This is my urgent need!! I really don't feel good not having time for the comments, your blogs and for creative things at this moment. I hope I'll work on that soon! (and change something about it too). I love to be connected with you!
However, not all the things are grumpy; here is my happy news: the DomInStil team (and my blog) were presented on our national tv's website!! (see here) Aren't we great?

Currently I have images like that in my mind:
This place inspires me so much that I can't wait to get some paint and brushes in my hands and start to paint. But I have to wait until July, so that my busy schedule settles down a bit... I just hope that until then my enthusiasm won't run away!?!?

Going on...
...a lot!
Have you noticed that I haven't been on-line a lot lately? What can I say? Things are going on, going on..., so there is a little time left for my hyperactive guy (read: my computer).
This week, my days were the days of learning, flying lessons, exploring my inner self, creating among the books, organizing disorganized, and some funny and exciting adventures somewhere in between.
This week, my days were the days of learning, flying lessons, exploring my inner self, creating among the books, organizing disorganized, and some funny and exciting adventures somewhere in between.
All details very soon, when I will talk about:
*how I was filled with energy at expressive therapy
*how I worked on our family model at art therapy
*flying lessons with many creative souls and our guide Kelly Rae
*creating with children among the books in Ljubljana's libraries (more about that here: link)
*funny events with the Dom in Stil Team, when the rain interfered our work and photoshooting in the nature (you can read an introduction to the dramatic story of our adventures here: link, and see the first pictures here: link)

And while I was not here, I've got some new visitors on my blog! Yoopie! :) All of you who have visited my blog for the first time, I want to say to you: you are always welcome! I'd be glad if you comment, ask, suggest creative ideas and tell something about yourselves on my blog :).
And all of you, my loyal followers of my blog, thank you for all the encouraging and interesting comments, every-day visits, and for the words that make me think... I'm grateful for you :)!
You know, for some time I have a little surprise waiting to be delivered to one of you, my loyal followers... It may knock on your door very soon, who knows?! :) As you know, I don't let the machine to choose the 'winner', I always choose a person whom I admire (and thank) for his/her words, creative ideas, thoughts, effort a person puts into my life, my blog. I believe that we never know when just a word, a smile, a handshake makes someone happy and makes his/her life better. This can be you and this is maybe a meaning of your life!
I promise, I'll visit you and your blog as well. I did not forget you!
There's also a list of new 'flying' friends waiting for me. I checked a few blogs already, but I would like to leave some comments there - there are so many gorgeous posts out there, I can't wait to have time to explore all! I'm soooooo happy that I've joined the Kelly Rae's e-course and have now so many creative souls next to me to be inspired, supported and loved :)! Thank you, my new friends - it's great to fly with you all :)!
And last but not least, a while ago I promissed you more pictures from my wandering with my Tiny paintings... So here they are...
